Welcome to the Biomedical Laboratory website of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the American University of Beirut. The Biomedical Lab is located in the aymond Ghosn Building, in the second floor, Room 205.

The newly established laboratory is utilized to conduct EEG measurements. The collected data is then utilized to understand the relationship between the measured voltages and the brain activity. The equipment in the laboratory are state and of the art and utilize the active probe technology. Soon the lab is going to acquire an addition to the existing measuring system. This addition will allow the researches to measure electrical activity of the mussels EMG. The related courses to this lab are: EECE601 - Biomedical Engineering I, EECE 602 - Biomedical Engineering II, EECE603 - Biomedical Signal and Image Processing.
