A design studio that introduces projects that deal with complex architectural programs and the development of conceptualization related to developing design work. It develops the student’s response to design challenges through projects that deal with different environments, scales and venues (level and sloping sites, new construction, renovation, urban and rural). The studio stresses a variety of representation tools (sketching, collage, texts, 2D and 3D drawings, models) and emphasizes architectural representation in plan, section and elevation.
