A course on type that moves, changes, deforms, blurs, and interacts. Working with the fundamentals of printed typography, it will build upon them using additional layers that can be achieved with animation. Basic visual exercises and more complex experiments and projects will cover subjects such as intonation to express voice through type; space navigation through text to achieve alternative reading procedures; and combination in form of typographic performance (Latin and Arabic typography).
