Civil Engineering Gala
The Civil Engineering Gala Dinner is an annual tradition
in the Department where the CEE family, students, staff,
faculty, and friends, get together to celebrate the end
of the year. The event is mainly organized by 4th year
students and is an occasion to bid them farewell for graduation.
The event includes special activities and dinner. The
Gala of 2004 took place in Grand Hills Village, Broummana,
on May 22, under the theme “Smiles Guaranteed”.
The Gala sponsors included: Dar Al-Handasah (Shair &
Partners), Khansaheb – UAE, Khatib & Alami –
CEC, MAN Enterprise, Team International, and the Engineering
& Architecture Alumni Chapter.
Other Activities
The CEE classes participated in numerous sports activities
and tournaments organized by student societies and representative
council at FEA and at AUB. Students and faculty also attended
dinners and gatherings on various occasions, including
Iftar, Conference, and Gala
