Field trips were organized by the CEE faculty with the
objective of exposing students to the real life experiences
in the practical civil engineering world. Visits to the
projects, offices, and plants (listed below) were also
aimed at enhancing students learning in specific courses.

Aim: To expose students to one of the most significant
development projects in Lebanon. The visit included: presentation
on the project, numerous construction sites, rehabilitation
and historic preservation, the Normandy dump site and
recycling plant, breakwater and the marina, and an infrastructure
overview.
