Graduation Requirements

To earn a PhD degree in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, a student must fulfill the following graduation requirements:

Attained a minimum grade of 80 in 24 credits taken at the PhD level.
Attained a minimum cumulative average of 85 in 24 credits taken at the PhD level.
Passed the PhD dissertation defense.
Satisfied the minimum residence requirements.
Presented evidence of a paper submittal to a leading international journal.
