Awards 2003-2004

The following awards were presented to CEE students for outstanding achievements and performance.

Dean’s Award for Creative Achievement
The objective of this award is to recognize and reward creativity among students at FEA in their approach to academic work.

Recipients: Sako Holtian, Hovannes Betchakdjian, Charbel Rizk, and Rafi Khoshafian (SHCR Team)
Project: Smart and Handy Construction Robot - SHCR (Project described in Section 3.3)

Best CEE Paper at 3rd FEA Student Conference
The objective of this award is to recognize the best paper presented by CEE undergraduate student at the 3rd FEA Student Conference.

Recipients: Pascal Abou Dagher, Wissam Khalil, Cinderella Nuwayhid, and Michel Waked
Paper: Machine for Flexure and Transverse Testing (Project described in Section 3.3)

Abdul Hadi Debs Endowment Award
The objective of this award is to recognize academic excellence and evidence of significant research and publications by students.

Recipients: Award shared between graduate students Lilian Malaeb (Major EWRE, Civil and Environmental Engineering Department) and Jihad Harathani (Major ME, Mechanical Engineering Department).
