The 2008 Best Poster Presentation Award offered by the American Society for Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) was granted to Professor Nesreen Ghaddar, a senior faculty member in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and her co-authors Amer Kiblawi and Ralph Saade, 2009 graduates in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, in recognition for their work on "Design Charts for Combined Chilled Ceiling Displacement Ventilation System". The work was performed at the Renewable Energy Lab of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture.
