renovated space has xx Intel Pentium based PCs that
are loaded with a variety of software packages including
word processing and spread sheets programs, ProE, ALGOR,
MatLab, Simulink, Prostat, StarCD, Fluent, etc. and
other specialty programs as requested by Engineering
faculty. The computers and software are maintained by
FEA staff. These machines are available for all Engineering
students and are used for many ME courses.
The goals of
the Lab is to promote research in the area of computer
vision, including: image feature detection, shape modeling
and representation, motion analysis, color vision, object
recognition, and medical image analysis..
