Welcome to the Biomedical Laboratory website of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the American University of Beirut. The Biomedical Lab is located in the Raymond Ghosn Building, in the second floor, Room 107.

In the Electric Machines Laboratory, students study magnetic circuits and transformers, dc and ac machines, stepper motors, and induction motors. Existing machines are from Terco Company. This laboratory is being upgraded with a number of new research setups with sophisticated measuring devises. The related courses to this lab are: EECE370 - Electric Machines and Power Fundamentals, and EECE474 – Electric Drives.
