Welcome to the Robotics Laboratory website of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the American University of Beirut. The Robotics Lab is located in the Raymond Ghosn Building, in the second floor, Room 207.


In this laboratory students learn the fundamentals of Robotics. The lab is equipped with an IBM industrial Manipulator and an educational robot from Rhino Inc. Five mobile robots with full wireless control travel in the lab to add to the two already existing manipulators. Several courses and research projects in tele-robotics are taught in this lab. This lab is also used for research in advanced control algorithms, and robotics. The related course to this lab is: EECE661 - Robotics.
